CE for Therapists
Therapists take my Hold Me Tight® Couples Retreat with their partner to deepen their knowledge of Emotionally Focused Therapy by experiencing the Hold Me Tight® program.
Thirteen (13) hours of Continuing Education are available to Psychologists, MFT and LCSW therapists for purchase at R. Cassidy Seminars.
* Participants will be able to define negative cycles including Finding the Bad Guy, Protest Polka and Freeze and Flee and their origin in attachment insecurities.
*Participants will be able to define and identify Raw Spots rooted in the past and the underlying primary emotions driving them.
• Participants will utilize knowledge of negative cycles and raw spots to re-visit a rocky moment.
• Participants will be able to make a genuine apology using the steps of the forgiveness model.
• Participant will be able to integrate knowledge of attachment and emotions to engage in a Hold Me Tight® conversation with their partner using primary emotion and stating attachment needs.
•Participants will be able to discuss touch, intimacy and sex as building blocks for secure connection with their partner and in a conversation about their intimate life with their partner.
•Partners will be able to discuss the importance of rituals to a building a lifetime of love.
Psychologists, Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists, Counselors
CE Credits are available for purchase at R. Cassidy Seminars which is approved by the California Psychological Association and by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences to provide continuing professional education for psychologists, Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers.
The Hold Me Tight® Couples’ Retreat meets the qualifications for 13 hours of continuing education credit for Psychologists as required by the California Psychological Association.
The Hold Me Tight® Couples’ Retreat meets the qualifications for 13 hours of continuing education credit for Marriage and Family Therapists and/or Licensed Clinical Social Workers as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Attendees who are in attendance for the entire workshop, signing in and out, and who complete the appropriate evaluation will receive CE credits. CE credit will only be given for full attendance at the workshop. Late arrivals or early departures will not receive CE credit.
